Meet Miss Rhoda

Have we officially met? My name is Rhoda. Its etymology. It comes from Rhodes, which was a Greek Island infamous for its roses. My name technically means, rose. I think it's unique because I have very few namesakes. Rhoda was also a servant girl in the bible who received Peter the apostle when he came from jail. I have never had a nickname all my life. So I am called Rhoda. Very simple, right? So this week, I let you into my life, make an acquaintance. I haven't blogged long. As a matter of fact, I have been very lazy at it. I have only decided to put effort to it because I actually like to write. I love to write. It allows me to open up to you and share my opinion without having to look into your face. And am certain y'all look great, I am just not very bold in person. I love people all the same. I like to share ideas.

I will emphasize that I am not a feminist, because you will come across a great deal of talk about women. I am not a sexist either. My family has lots of girls. Too much oestrogen. I have been brought up around girls and I live with them,I love it. I enjoy being a woman.

Now men, don't take it wrongly, you are appreciated, but then I am those people who believe that charity begins at home. A girl has got to have her own life because we are first individuals then we are together. Apart and together at the same time. I am against women wanting to be men, why, because it is impossible then it is shallow. My philosophy, everything is made for it's unique and very specific purpose. Being a woman is not weakness, and I don't need to kill myself working too hard to prove that point, treating other people wrong. It is pitiable to look at a feminist push her ignorance to the very square where the city comes together. So do not mistake my ideology for feminism. I date men, have man crush mondays. I know how rampant feminism is but I am very much against it. That means I play for team Adam. Team Adam, has both men and women in it, but you see, when a man is the head, it means he's got the face for both of you. So in this team, we are apart and together. Apart when I am busy minding my own business being woman and together when I have discovered myself and the next person.

So this is who I am, my blog, it is about my actual opinion on matters of our daily lives. I strongly believe a woman should try to understand herself first before she can understand the next person. I also believe that men should try to understand themselves before understanding women.
