Till death do us part

When you someone, you should love them for real. Love is not a lie and its no game. Love is eternal and unconditional. Call me the 'what generation is that?' girl but I honestly don't believe at twenty one should be cursing at love and how it don't exist. I mean you are twenty, what can you prove substantially and with evidence that so far ain't proven already? I am not denying that we are brilliant and very intelligent and can prove so much by our very refined brains that so far know only school for occupation. We are without a doubt very intelligent. So we are not at the vows yet but this is the way I think it. Love is till death do us part. We are obviously stuck with our parents and siblings, the family till death actually do us part. So the common question of how your mom would treat you when you break a piece of art in the house. Does she cease being your mom and you break up? If your sis treats you bad and you get into a serious argument over whatever, you always reconcile somehow. The only thing that separated man and God in Eden was death. For God told Adam, in the day you eat of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, you shall surely die. In that day, he died. And death keeps us from love. No there are no types of Love. There is only One Love. It is everything it translates from family to career to spouse. We need love for all that, we just express it to different persons in different ways. So when you love your family enough to realize you are stuck with them till death do you part, then shouldn't you love your spouse in the same way? so that you don't 'leave' at any sign of disagreement. Whoever you choose to love, in case you choose to love, whether its a friend, a family member or spouse, love them with such knowledge. Knowing what love is. Love is strong because God is strong and He is Love.

Ethnocentrism is a matter of personal growth

So is this who I am? because someone said so??because they did their research based on whatever facts they had and stamped it. Am branded thief, con person, disclaimer and who knows what else. Why? cause of my tribe. I get very agitated at people who make such conclusions and claims which they cannot prove. Such habits are in the least disgusting. What pseud people we have! You should see the confidence some of us Kenyans wear when branding other tribes, not to mention the vehemence in our insistence of how unlikeable they are. If you don't like some tribe just leave them alone rather than fuel hate. How far have we come with this struggle against ethnocentrism. Apparently which is a struggle because you will be forced to live whatever someone wants you to be, but excuse me. I will not live by someone's rules based on ignorance and plain arrogance. And the dust just settled after the elections.I say that because I have absolutely nothing against tribes, they are just groups for efficiency even nature is a good manager why humans are not is another thing.
 Had anyone said to our forefathers, the way you talk could cause bloodshed would they believe for precaution? Maybe that would have saved lives. Yeah it matters what you speak and what comes from your mouth can kill sooner than your tight grip can strangle and faster than your blade can swing to mutilate. I believe strongly by speech you can give hope and life to a person as I also believe the universe was created by word of mouth. That is how much you can give to the universe and the people around you. Your tongue is like a sword an you choose what to do with it. Now a sword is known for its good use in war but it is also useful to those who have it in many other ways. You can use a sword to fin food in the wild as you can give hope with your tongue where its scarce. A sword is a knife serving, you may use it to shape and chop off junk and that means rebuke. Rebuke people and warm them of such danger that may result from their careless speech. Correct them that is building each other and our country as a whole. We ceased to correct each other and speak up where we are offended. It is important that we sort issues there and then so that grudge does not grow like a seething hot rod of iron within us. the tongue cannot be tamed it is your own decision to train it that makes the difference in who you are and what you do. You decide how people will treat you with your tongue by standing up for your opinion. Do not be afraid of refuting a point of ethnocentrism. Moat importantly, let our tongues serve us. Do not bite your own tongue. When you are on the wrong, admit it. We don't need movements to help us deal with our personal issues. I believe ethnocentrism is a personal matter. If each one of us dealt with it. The whole nation has dealt with it. You are Kenya, We are Kenya

Work before play.

So my good friend was right I have become less ambitious. I am becoming less ambitious by the day. She asked me what would you do if you hit the jackpot this very day and i responded "what would I do? I have no use for dough" and she yelled "really??" i was kidding, for real I was weighing her own ambition, and that is not the problem, the issue is what came after that. I actually reasoned in the light of being young and having no use for money, which is stupid and gullible. If you want to achieve something you have to work for it, for you to work for that thing in the first place you have to realize the need you have for that thing. That is ambition, we all have needs. We cannot live without fulfilling such needs and most of the time our ambition is concealed by the mask of parenthood. Simply because we are brought up by parents looking out for us, we are unconscious of our needs to a certain age in life, which should not be after ten. I believe every child becomes ambitious at ten, that being the latest age. Children begin as early as five years old to realize the need to thrive. I want to be a good student, well not exactly put that way but they strive at tender ages to be good in studies and in play. this ambition should never dwindle. Parents should encourage such desires to be great in their children. I have come across parents who clearly shun their kids dreams, knowingly or unknowingly. Whatever little things your baby says, encourage her or him, smile with approval and be proud of them. Try to find interest in whatever they love and be a part of it. As a child grows they become better and you become a part of that. Now my own mother is the greatest encourager of my dreams. Even God encourages people and works with them to give them direction. That is what mentorship does. I am twenty years old now. Working towards a cause. My ambition swayed at some point but its one of the best things I have realized in my teenage and as a young adult. Life is about building, its the only way we find essence. We just have to work before we can play.

This other moon

So April fools came, i was barely aware. I just woke to a new week like any other. Jogged my way to the shower and out and that felt like good exercise,did the rest of them aerobics on my breakfast and then sat to work, in life you have to eat in order to work, then work in order to eat just the order of routine. Those two are like workers taking shifts or batons of the athletes on the tracks, they are like wavelengths on the field...magnetic. Anyway I do not remember what happened on Monday or where i went. i think my memory is fading, literally. I remember though that a friend visited on Monday, the week began and it has been fine. I will not be complaining and its already Friday actually am only mourning the moon, cause i missed out on the opportunity to pull some good prank on someone this April.
well maybe i was part of it because i could not reckon what day it was. all the same everything else is good. Easter, each day. and most importantly, the weekend. I still believe one can get fooled or make fools any other day of the year.
